Who I Am
November 17th, 2008About Me
I have been working in the graphic design and marketing fields since the late 90s. In that time, I have worked as in-house designer for a University computer store, a consultant for a major technology company (one of the world’s most recognizable brands), and a freelancer — doing work for event managers, real estate companies, and yes, of course, fitness professionals.
I have, in the past, created posters, flyers, brochures, direct-mail postcards, business cards, print ads, newsletters and other various print media work, as well as a wide range of web graphics work, including headers, buttons, and yep, full sites.
I went to school at the University of Central Florida, and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media. I was originally seeking a degree in Advertising, but when the Digital Media degree was created, I could’nt help but jump at the opprotunity to get in on the ground floor of an emerging field.
In three words…
I am creative-thinking, design-obsessed, deadline-oriented. (Ok, I cheated with hypenation…)
About My Tools
Hardware: I am an “All Apple All the Time” girl, along with a Wacom graphics tablet and a Canon printer. I use a Canon 7 megapixel digital camera for any photography work I need to do.
Software: I use the Adobe suite of applications for my work. Most often, you’ll find me in Photoshop and InDesign.
